As some of you may already know, Wolat and I (Yasser) were supposed to go to Iran together to make a report. Unfortunately, given the situation in the country at the time, this turned out to be too reckless an idea. In the end, I went alone and tried to give as honest a picture as possible of my experiences in the country through a travel report. In the first two weeks of October 2022, in the midst of the protests and riots at the time, I traveled alone to Iran, where I made a report about daily life in Mashhad and Shiraz.

I did my utmost to avoid giving a distorted view and to capture my own reality. This means that some situations may have been different for others, but this is my story. I also want to emphasize that I had to film everything with my phone, as walking around with a film camera would have been impossible there. Nevertheless, I hope you can enjoy the video and learn something from it.
