In 2021, we started a foundation with the aim of bringing together people from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and origins through the art of conversation and understanding. Our first project took place in July 2021, when we traveled with a group of four people to the autonomous Kurdish region in Iraq. Here, we filmed a documentary about life in the region after all the turbulent periods it has gone through, and the people who live there. It was our own curiosity that motivated us to make this film. We believe that a destination is not just a place, but can also mean a new way of seeing things.
