In September and October 2023, we spent 10 days in Togo, Benin, and Ghana. In Togo, we visited Stichting De Thuishaven, where we made a documentary about De Thuishaven and followed the founder, Reza Nelembaye Ngarigota, in his story. What Reza does for the children in Togoville, Togo, is indescribable. He makes a huge impact with De Thuishaven, best expressed through non-verbal gestures like big smiles, many hugs, and immense gratitude. The expressions of dozens of children at De Thuishaven have stayed with us forever once we returned to the Netherlands, and we hope to eventually give you all the same smile after seeing these images.

On the first day in Togoville, we played a match against the boys of De Thuishaven with the boys of Nowruz. In the photo, you can see our beautiful Nowruz x Togo uniforms made by Jugador Teamwear and sponsored by Darna Care. Thank you very much, gentlemen! The boys in Togoville will henceforth play their tournaments and matches in these uniforms. On the second day, we received a tour of Togoville, and in the photo, you can see us in Nowruz x Togo shirts. We also distributed these shirts to the children and the organization of De Thuishaven.
