sc nowruz togoville
At the SC Nowruz Football Academy in Togoville, Togo, we offer vulnerable youth between 14 and 18 years old a safe space to train, grow, and build their future. With local coaches Sergio and Papa, we guide these young people both on and off the pitch. Your donation helps provide football equipment, training, and personal development opportunities.
With just €300 a month, we can offer these young people daily training, equipment, transportation, and guidance. That may sound like a lot — but with 30 people donating €10 per month, we can make it happen together.

official general meeting
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, an important milestone took place in Togoville for the development of the SC Nowruz Togoville Academy. The local team organized an official general meeting where not only players, parents, and supporters were present, but also representatives of the municipality, the regional football district, social organizations, and sports experts from the region.
For us at SC Nowruz in the Netherlands, it was a special moment to see how the project that began several years ago as an initiative to give young people opportunities through football continues to grow and is being taken more seriously within the local community. During the meeting, the vision of SC Nowruz Togoville was presented: guiding young people through sport, helping them grow as individuals, and supporting them in pursuing their dreams — both on and off the field.
It was particularly encouraging to see that local authorities and representatives of the football district also expressed their support for the project. They emphasized the importance of initiatives like this for the youth of Togoville and expressed their willingness to collaborate and help make regional matches and sports activities possible.
The meeting also reflected on what has been achieved over the past period thanks to partners and donors: organizing matches for the youth, supporting school costs and school materials, and special moments such as the trip to Kpalimé. These initiatives show that football here is not only a sport, but also a way to provide young people with structure, motivation, and perspective.
From the Netherlands, we look with pride and gratitude at the work of Papa, Sergio, and the entire local team, who are building this project every day with great dedication. The meeting of March 14 shows that SC Nowruz Togoville is increasingly becoming an established part of the Togoville community.
